Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre runs the Haven Project in the Powys area.

The Haven project is designed to give women and their children a safe place to stay while they decide what their future plans may need to be.

Within this safe environment, residents are able to access the advice and support that they need in order to enable them to make informed decisions about their future always supported by regular joint planning meetings with a key worker.

Children have their own staff who work always in conjunction with the parents.

Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre takes a holistic approach to clients and function as a one-stop agency. This means that any support or advice that the clients need can be accessed through their key worker.

MFCC recognise that our clients may need advice and support in relation to other problems that they may have and MFCC see it as part of their function to help them to access such advice and support as part of a multi agency approach to their needs.

All clients in the safe house have access to a permanently staffed 24 hour emergency helpline, 365 days of the year, including Christmas day!
