Governance

MFCC is governed by a Board of Trustees.

The Board has overall responsibility for the organisation. Its main responsibilities are:

To establish and uphold the vision, values and priorities of the organisation
To oversee the strategic direction of the organisation and its services
To undertake the responsibilities of the employer
To ensure probity and good governance
To ensure that the services are of a high standard and in line with current Welsh legislation
To maintain an up to date register of members

All Trustees share corporate responsibility for decisions made and should act in the best interests of the organisation at all times.
The Board is committed to working collaboratively with other specialist services within the Mid & West Wales region and nationally through Welsh Women’s Aid.
