Thousands of pounds was raised by Newtown based company Quartix for local charity Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre in 2024.
Quartix’s staff organised fundraisers throughout the year and with the support of the local community raised an amazing £9,000. Events included quiz nights, a charity ball and a half marathon as well as donations of food and gifts for the vulnerable families supported by North Powys’s domestic abuse support service, Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre.
Steve Jarman a member of Quartix’s social committee said ‘It has been a pleasure working closely with such a wonderful organisation and we hope that they can put the money raised to good use’
Jane Stephens, Director of Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre said “Having Quartix’s support over the past year has been truly amazing. I would like to say a big thank you to all involved, not only for the funds raised but also for recognising the need and benefits of a local business supporting a local charity, our specialist domestic abuse services may well be required at some point by their workforce or their family, friends or neighbours. The monies raised by this amazing team of people will most certainly be put to good use.”
